Pics from 04/26 at the track.

Man I still can't get the wheels up. May I need to take the engine out of the front. Those things are to heavy.

So you are driving that truck. Pretty good times for the weight. How much power are you pushing?

nah i already tried that, the 60ft slows down a lot. it gets a 2.0 60ft in 4wd, best ive been able to do in 2wd is a 2.300, its got an open 3.73 rearend so traction in 2wd is limited. i dont even gain half a mph going from 4hi to 2hi, trapped 81.92 in 4x4 and 82.24 in 2wd, et was 16.3 in 2hi.

Eibach drag launch springs. 1 1/4 coils cut up front. Airbag in passenger rear spring.

Tokico 5 way adjustable drag struts.
Lakewood 50/50 shocks.
HPM Mega Bite Jr upper and lower control arms.
MM 4 bolts cc plates.
removed front swaybar.

That's it.

Next up will be a tubular front end/coil overs, remove rear sway bar and air bag and add an antiroll bar, adjustable shocks.

Then maybe I'll need wheelie bars. haha

So me not doing a wheelie? Or my 1.6 60' times?

I don't really care about lifting the wheels as that actually slows me down. But I'd rather the best 60' time I can get.

I don't think a high 1.6 isn't too bad for only 5kRPMs and 316twtq.

When I get the blower in I'll really start messing with launch rpms and stuff.

What did you go with? And why?

mostly your 60's. I could be totally wrong because sometimes I dont go too deep into things but, the Megabite Jr's are made to keep your tires on the ground by pushing UP on the chassis and pushing down on the axle right? and what you want the front end to do is lift up right? So you now have 2 forces pushing UP on both ends of you car. as your front is lifting, so is the rear which is in turn pushing the front back down. even in your launch pics, your left rear wheel well looks higher than it does sitting. Again, I could be totaslly wrong but thats my outlook on it. Plus when I look at guys running food 60's, they just have regular control arms and not the "lift bar" type.
