I haven't yet acquired a 3000GT VR-4 (I favor the Mitsu look over the Stealth), and was wondering if I could get your input on performance shops in the area. I'm in southern Maine. One shop I have seen is North East Auto Design, in Portland. I don't think they have an AWD dyno.
Let's get some performance shops on here, with addresses, phone numbers and web sites so we can have local resources!
Regards,
Kev

Our very own member BottledBird68 owns and operates http://www.chickenscustoms.com and I work with/for him on 3/S cars. He is in fact an ASE certified mechanic and is one of the most talented automotive painters you will find. You will not find a better and cheaper place around ... however Worcester is a hike from Maine. ESP is also quite excellent and affordable ... I used to take my work to them before I found Matt/Chicken/BottledBird68 ... now I get to do my own work and work on these cars and I love it.

I haven't found a place in the greater portland area that I trust yet with anything beyond NORMAL work. When I go visit my parents (in auburn) I will ask around. I have a few contacts up there who know the scene rather well. I will get back to you on that one.

Right ... chicken is hands down the best "body guy" you will find. You're right ... there is no choice ... Chicken is the man.
