Well I wouldn't say I'm into it, but some of them do impress me. I can't imagine being a kid and being strapped into some of those little cars. Some of them run mid to low 7's in the 1/8th @ 75-80 mph! That's flying even for most street cars, never mind a hyped up go kart!

When I have kids, they will definitely have one.

I believe that Summit sells kits for them (but that might make you a ricer). The engines are only 5hp.

They've had some articles in Hot Rod magazine in the past about guys who hop up those motors. It's pretty nuts what kind of power they get from such tiny tiny motors.

Ive heard that in some places in Texas on private tracks kids do a full 1/4 and go over 100mph. No idea if its true.I think there are rules that you cant go faster than a certain time or you lose your jr. liscense for a year. correct me if im wrong
