SCCA questions

My car will be done suspension wise by next spring and I really want to get on the track and turn some laps before I put the turbo on .. just to get a feel for the car on the track ..

What do I have to go through in terms of certification .. lap time required .. and cost .. to get into SCCA

also .. what class would they put me in .. with my N/A VW Scirocco
