The matrix is kinda silly to me in the models they decided to come out with... The AWD model is an auto tranny only, and the FWD is a stick... Doesnt make sense. Either way, I like the Matrix / Vibe, its a neat idea and I like the thought of a cross project like that.

no problem man..i pretty much get along with everyone. i like all cars whether its american, euro, or jap.
there's a little get together in malden near a DD's by the old-timers. they always bring some really classic american cars out imo. tell u the truth, id rather get my hands on a old vette or mustang than driving in a "rice" car.

ScoobyGT

NP :D Yeah, some mods(more for show than go)...Supra clear corners,S2000 antenna,Euro taillights,AEM CAI,Proform Shiftlight. I'm hoping to eventually change the front grill, get a bigger hoodscoop, nice rims, carbon fiber hood and somehow(no idea, turbo maybe?) make it go fast:D Since this all requires money I don't have.. I can dream..and keep paying car payments and wish for something really fast :)

are u on the celica forums?
www.vvti.net i think is one of them. i'm on the matrix forums and we get alot of the celly peeps cuz we both have the same engine. i know a pretty decent mod (not cheap) is that they have been working on a unichip.

ScoobyGT

I'm only on www.newcelica.org (02SilvrCelicaGT). Tell me more about this mod :D The pic in my sig is from 2 summers ago before I did anything to her. I'll try to get an updated one, including the blue trim dash and reverse indiglo gauges :D

superbunny

try typing up "unichip" when ur on the celica forums and see what comes up. i'm pretty sure it would work on the celica cuz its a 2zz and the 1zz should work too. If not i'll search around the trix' forums.

bwahaha..a little off the subject, but I havent logged into newcelica since like, July or something...and I went in to a couple threads and saw people calling my ex "riceboy" :D Life is full of interesting twists, isn't it ironic? I'll look it up when I get the chance. Thanks for the 411 :)

hey speedy found out that it works with both 1zz and 2zz engines. the unichip replaces the stock ecu. u'll notice gains in hp and torque. it's not recommended fro stock since there won't be much of a gain but if u have a cai, exhaust, header..(the usual ricey stuff  ) ) there r more gains to be had. i'll give u the link if u want.
