Right now I'm debating trading my open car trailer for a supercharger. My nephew put it on about three weeks ago brand new, blew a head gasket & took it off. It would be sweet to hit Tasca day with a new toy :evil: but the trailer comes in handy :eh:

It's a 16ft Big Tex Roadrunner with a full wooden deck. I'm seriously considering the SC swap, this way it would still be in the family if I needed to borrow it :thumbsup: I bought an enclosed this year & really don't need the open deck but it is handy for short trips or picking up cars.

I only paid a little over $1800 for it new in '98. .

Mod motor sounds like fun, but I don't have one :( How it's supposed to work is, you run full out in qualifying.Say 12.22 & 12.25, The tower will then automatically dial you at 12.12 with a full sportsman tree but if you watch some people qualify, they lift at the 1000' mark to save a little for competition :bs1:

Stock & Factory Stock are no power adders.

Street Shootout could be fun but will probably have several cars running in the 11's if not 10's

Street Outlaw & Unlimited will probably be in the 9's :worship2: But I can watch cars pull away from me like a rocket at any T&T day I'd like to try survive a round or two.

I'll just take MM&FF word that a bone stock R ran 12.50 @112 on street tires.

I don't think it's likely you'll break anything on your car by running it down the strip a few times. The IRS is pretty stout until you get into wheel hop, which is easley enough avoided. Get it on the strip and see what you can muster out of it.

ok i got the rims on and instead of the ultra high performance tires i was gonna get, i was ordered bfg drag radials, im cool with it seeming how i wanted drags anyways!!! so should be goin up tom!!!!!!!! c u guys there :worship2:

It was a fun day other than all the times the track got oiled down.

I made it into the Semi finals of the Mod Motor Class, Jake did pretty well making it into(I think)the quarter finals.

All in all it was a fun day.
