Has anyone seen that datsun z car with the ferrari body kit running 9's?

I hit second gear and he was already done with his run and I was like

i know its a small block, dont know the displacement for sure


that car is a regular....it runs in quick street, and gets its ass handed to it by all the low 8 second cars

They lined me up with him in my caprice once before, so I just watched him wheelie off the line and finish his run, then I got my 10 second reaction time and got my 14...but not many caprices bark 4th going down the track...and since his run was finished, I figured it was my only chance for people to hear it, so why not.

Or the 9 second 3rd gen maro.... There are a few regulars at NED that run pretty quick.

i was just really impressed at how well the car ran, beyond just the single digit trap.


it made atleast 6 passes, the car launched with little effort and went down the track straight as an arrow, the guy definitely did his homework when setting the car up because it ran flawlessly.

saw it last night, but it appeared as though he blew the head gasket in the waterbox.

9.5's was the best i saw.

ya his son run the 500 shot and runs 8's the old man is scard of it and only when up to a 350 shot and popped his head gasket

its sweet but i wouldnt want a fake 10 million dollar car. altho that kit looks pretty good.. heres a pic of a real one to compare:

its not like hes some shmuck who wants everyone to think hes rich and drives a ferrari.

Its just a funky drag car which is pretty neat and exceptionally well done considering the guy did everything himself, or so he claimed.

yea i duno. i asked him what it was and he said "Ferrari 250 GTO" he didnt mention the kit part. i wasnt sure if it was real but it sounded meaner then i thought a ferrari would and once he did a burnout and ran 9seconds i said ok kit car. its still a cool car i was just saying i wouldnt want one myself. id rather have an ultima or something which is basicly a kit but doesnt try and look like a ferrari etc. but at least his kit has major balls

last summer a bunch of us were at the track and saw his car hide the tree in a wheelie it was pretty cool and eric still has the vid of it!
