a few people asked to see my other cars. i dont have pics of the laser, but this WAS my monte carlo until i junked it. (i pulled the motor out of it before i shipped it off) and the cobra picture WAS the motor for the mustang. i get rid of my stuff too often. what is it about cars where youre never satisfied with what you have? am i right?

yeah good call, that motors too nice to let it go to waste

but the much much much better thing to do would be to sell the stang and buy a roller 70 chevelle or 69 camaro, and put the rat in that.

i actually know of one, its an SS clone, stock interior, 396 had the heads taken off and then it sat, so the engine would need a good cleaning or rebuild. the rear quarters are rotted and need to be replaced. the tranny is a new b ulletproof rebuilt turbo 350. the rear end has a hole in it from a little too much torque and not enough strength in the spider gears , i think he has one ready to bolt in sitting there. he pretty much lost interest. the paint is shit too. i think he wants 4k for it if anyone is interested.

for that motor, id say spend 6k on a nice looking roller, decent interior, straight body, paint can suck because matt could paint it cheap, but no rust. never buy a rusty muscle car. its just one headache after another. youll never get rid of all the rust, and if you do, youve spent so much time and money replacing everything that it wouldve been cheaper to just buy one rust-free.
