Bren, I did the last time I was at NED two weeks ago ! Not sure WTF is up with it. As you saw, it ran like complete ASS all night. First pass was " ok ", ran an 11.6, but still sputtered half way down the track. Down hill from there. I kept trying different things, Fuel pressure, adding fuel, removing fuel, etc... To no avail.
Last time I raced, it ran 11.3's all night and I did not really change anything. I don't buy my race gas at the track, I get it locally. I suspect it was not VP C-16, maybe VP-22 ! :hmm: Going to drain it today and see.
On the plus side, the car leaves the line REAL smooth on the new Hoosiers. Too bad I wasn't making any real power to really push them.

Thanks. I try to keep the entire car that way.

not only was it your dsm, but seems to be every quick one there. Is it just a tuning issue? fuel cut? At first i thought it was a intercooler pipe, till i saw you spool again. You guys sure are brave with no air filters on your turbo :)

i was the white wrx parked in front of green machines durango.

car looks EVIL on hoosiers dude, plus its clean and one color :smokin: good job

yeah seriously youd never think cleaning a car would be such a difficult thing, but it really differentiates you from other fast dsms

As far as I'm concerned, Mike has by far the best looking 1G in New England. Not to mention the thing hauls ass.

Found the problem, massive boost leak at the throttle body. I guess I should have pressure tested it after the install of the Sheet Metal Intake. Which explains why the car was running very rich. I am looking forward to running Wednesday with full boost. The car ran a bunch of 11.3's with this leak.

I made 4 passes.

10.9 @ 130 (“only 27psi”)
Mid 12’s (I haven’t missed a gear in a year of racing, then it I do it in style – missed EVERY gear on that pass)
10.8 @ 132 (32psi, but bad launch…)
Mid 12’s (tried Mike’s gas and was breaking up all the way down…)

So I didn’t have a very good night, but it wasn’t terrible, ether.

I can't wait to see what Mike does without a leak!!! :)
