Ok I am going to now start thinking about moderators (I don't want the job). As a small site we only need a few (I'm thinking 2-3) and this is not going to be a popularity contest. I have a few people in mind but I don't know if they want the job. Regardless as the users you should know these are the rules the moderators are going to enforce (as posted in the moderator forum).

#1. Move all porn threads to the lounge.

#2. Mark any porn that is unmarked with a NWS

#3. No porn in signatures.

#4. If a thread has grown wildly off-topic then split it and move it to the lounge (don't worry about this too much unless its turned into a total flame fest)

#5. Don't delete any threads or posts unless they contain something rather illegal (kiddy porn) ... just move it to the lounge if you think it is overly offensive.

If you, the users, have any issues with those rules let them be known now before I select some moderators and have them enforce these rules. Take note of the fact that the rules are more or less based off of porn categorization ... :thumbsup:

Matt ... my intention is if we eventually get enough users and specifically enough Vendors to create a special user group for vendors and give them their own space on the site to play in (post their work, specials, etc ...). Right now we are still too small for this but hopefully if we recruit enough it will come.

i really think the best choice for mods are the people that are on here the most,after all whats the point of having a mod if there never fucking around ...right

Oh yes ... there's a whole lot of responsibility that comes along with the title and it ... quite frankly ... sucks. Always have to watch what you say and be as fair as you can be ... and honestly ... who wants to be like that? This is why I am not a moderator on my own site ... I've already told the mods if I get out of hand to moderate me ... because I'd much rather just be a guy and not a someone ...

Uh huh. I am already finding, with a small site like this, there is a lot of work to be done by the moderators. Keeping things inline is a PITA. It also means that I HAVE to go through every thread, just to make sure there are no neked pics, or no all out flame wars. Of course, the post whores are the biggest PITA right now. MOving all their posts to another thread is becoming a nuisance, but nothing I can't deal with.

im done post whoring and im gonna fly straight from now on...i didnt realize all the work that actually was going on when posts were out of whack and what not...my bad..but i promise to get it right from now on:thumbsup:

Well when I post whored to get to 100...I did it in the lounge in a thread that most people have been doing it in..Along with the NWS thats just common sense people can get into some shit because of that at work
