That's why we all should have a pet Willy....

Killer whale killing and eating a great white (http://www.cnn.com/EARTH/9710/08/whale.vs.shark/whale.shark.15.mov)

No it's not. This is a bullnose dolphin...

Notice the dorsal fin...

Although, it is a dolphin. The dorsal fin gives it away. Great whites (as most sharks) don't have the curvature like that at the back of the fin. Dolphins however do.

It's a bottle nose Dolphin, like flipper.

A bullnose isn't even a mamal, and are quite tasty:thumbsup:

Yup, because if you weren't supposed to eat cows, they wouldn't taste so good, and move so slow:thumbsup:

ya thats a dolphin .. but from where that guy is on his board .. a dolphin/MAKO looks pretty much the same .. its probably a 10ft + shadow that he's seeing .. ever been out on a board just chillin there???? makes you think about danglin' a worm out on a string ..

if i knew there were dolphins around .. then there's not much to worry about sharks

I spent a few months surfing in Central America a few years ago.Just sittin in the water waiting for waves, fish would start jumpin around me.All I could think was"Wonder what's going after the little fish?Hmm.Wonder what's going after the bigger fish going after the little fish?Hhmmmm.Wonder what's going after the...."and so on ad infinitum.Actually the scariest thing was paddling across the river mouths when you know damn well there are Big Fucking Crocodiles in the water.Talk about motivation. You've never seen a white boy move so fast using only his arms as transport.Oh,and pelicans definitely ride waves.I've seen em' do it.

The way I look at it is you take a big risk getting out of bed in the morning anyway. You may as well push your luck and try to stay on top of fate.Make fear your bitch.

Well the pelicans swoop down the face of a breaking wave and catch the updraft(Yes waves have updrafts)into the curl. They fly in the tube for a few moments and then peel out from under the lip as the wave closes out.Pretty amazing thing to see. They would do this wether it was 2ft or 10ft.There were waves where I was certain they were gonna get crunched but they pulled it every time,at the last possible moment. And when I say ten foot waves I mean grinding ten foot shore pound.Steep and fast.Kinda waves where if you flinch, your fucked. But those pelicans would just cruise under that lip and get tubed like I only wish I could.Proof to me that Mother Nature has a sense of humor.
