Since I have a stock car, I'd wager my mid 13 sec 4th gen won't be much competition & since it's stock with no "bling" under the hood, it wouldn't do well for the show.

I am gonna try to make it either way.

The wife has to get Wally world to OK her day off 1st.
Yeah, she works Saturdays.

Looks like I will be driving a maroon 6 cyl bird as my car crapped out last night. I think it is the ICM. Opti just went in, it fired up, misfired bad, and then wouldn't catch. There are only so many parts and the coil is good, wores are good, so I am guessing ICM. Oh well, I will still show and who says a 17 second turdgen can't win?

The little six cylinder crap box spun bad in time trials number 1, spun worse in time trial number 2, and I decided to dial a tenth higher than my worst for the first round of eliminations as I know where the brakes are.

However, they sprayey the lane justbefore I ran and the damn thing hooked up... I still found the brales but was on them so hard I was down to 60 mph by the finish line and broke out by .13

So... Now my regualr car runs.... Ignition control modules appears to work. I still do not trust it but I will try taking it tomorrow and see what happens.

I went up and ran the test and tune, got to meet a few of you today. Wish I could have met more of you, but I can't tell one Camaro/Firebird from the next. hehe

I got to watch a bunch of you run, and there were some stong cars there today. I didn't stay till the end, but it was a fun day.

By the way I ran a 10.97@123 mph

We should have a newengland motorsports get together there sometime this summer.

I had a uch better day today. Since I actually had my car, although it was running slow it was consistent, and I went to the finals before I screwed up my dial. I had him by three hundredths on the tree and broke out. Oh well.

Don't feel too bad Ted, I lost Mod with a .508 and a .63 on the .64 dial then proceded to lose in Street to Jeff with a .483 red and a .64 on a .64 dial :( . All in all it was a good day. The car ran .62 to .65 all day.

First round in Street was a lot of fun though, I ran my friend who I was tied in points with & won by .0008 seconds at the stripe.

I had a .527 to his .531 and ran 13.65 on the .62 to his 12.62 on a .59 dial. :smokin:
