Eh ... you're in NY which isn't new england ... lol ... so you can't qualify. Regardless I do have every intention of bagging a sub-11.5 this year and may go nitrous to hit very low 11's if need be. There are a couple cars in New England with bigger turbos and more mods than me ... but they don't seem to drive their cars ... mostly dyno queens. I'm not afraid to break my shit and that gives me the advantage :D

Regardless right now I am full of shit ... I don't even have a running car. My saturn would be lucky to break 16.5 so I guess for the moment I'm slower than everything except for SOHC's and automatics ... :owned:

3SI is a tight net community. Our car isn't mass produced into the 2340924924092409420949 like the Rustangs. We know basically what cars run what. There maybe someone faster but I nor Feral would probably know about it.

Other than that, it's just typical ricer BS about someone did this and that without any verification.

Regardless yeah there's tons of mustangs but an 11 second mustang is still a VERY FAST mustang. Just because there are 6 second mustangs doesn't make 11 second ones common as dirt. At any track in america on a non-event night 11 second cars pretty much stand out and dominate the crowd.

A 1.7 definitely wakes you the fuck up. A 1.6 is DAMNED violent. I've never gotten a 1.5 but I imagine that's going to be better than any rollercoaster ever. I know I can hit 60mph in about 3.3-3.5 seconds right now with a full launch. I get to 100 in about 8 seconds and obvious 120 is right around 12. The problem is these cars have pretty shitty 1/4 gearing. I do a 3->4 shift at 110ish ... that really hurts unless I am running serious boost (which I have yet to actually do)
