Here's some interesting picture's I just took. Chrome vs. Polished aluminum. I just polished the one without the button. As you can see, the chrome looks very bright and reflective, but you can tell it has a "plated" look to it. The polished aluminum looks deep and metal-like, not as "bling bling"... more of a classy style to it. I think both look cool.

I hear ya. I am putting the chrome one in my car only because I got the line lock (just haven't wired it up yet).
Those pics are also a good deciding point when it comes to wheels and shit like that.

yea...
i'm partial to sparse chrome, remote tach bezzel, shifter knob.. not much else though..
excessive chrome is a killer.. chrome door locks + door handles + e-brake, every bezzel, etc..

Course I would. I already got some people who want me to repolish their wheels over the winter (Timmy and Igotasweetride). We haven't made any definite plans though.
I thought those Dodge wheels are already polished from the factory though:eh: Maybe I'm wrong haha

Nothing like rubbing phallic objects!
Hey tunedport, I need to know if you have anymore TPI parts, like intake's, the runners or the plenum. If you do have any left over i'd be happy to sco0p em up off your hands.

Nick I have a full TPI setup off an 88 IROC. Polished ported plenum, polished runners, and intake manifold. I had them acid dipped so theres no carbon or anything inside them. Also comes with EGR and polished fuel rails.
I'm gonna finish polishing the plenum hopefully today. Everything else is done. I'll post pictures if you want them.

I would hafta look at them first to get a good estimate. Were they already polished and need to be re-buffed, or do they need sanding and polishing?
EDIT- these ones?

To rebuff the drag lites? I dunno 120 bucks or so. Sandpaper and compounds are gettin expensive, so it really fucks me over on pricing. I don't wanna go too high but I can't go too low either or else I won't make much profit :ak1:

Do you have injectors, wiring harness, and ECU? If not it isn't a big deal, send me a PM on what you want for the setup. It doesn't need to be polished or anything, but hey a little Bling never hurt anyone I guess.

Hmm, how much to polish say, an LT1 intake? And possibly the accesory bracket. If all goes according to plan I know someone who may be interested....... :cool2:

Hmm I've never done an LT1 intake before. I've looked at my dads, it doesn't look too easy... I'd probably hafta buy some sanding rolls for my die grinder because the palm sander I use on the TPI won't get into all those little places.

I need to get back down there to get some more work in on those caprices. My Compton hat is ruined, but it was worth the experience.
Even if it did take me 2 hours to swap starters lol
