Help...Anyone know a good dodge dealer tech?

I picked up my 02 ram quad cab....When i was takin it home I noticed it has daytime running lights..These fucking suck cause I have 8k xeon's waitin to go in the truck..So went to the dealer today to me the truck is a canadian model which are required to have DRL's...Theres no easy way around these i think..So i need to talk to a tech to get a wiring diagram to start from there....Also do you know what the closest dealer around here is to do the Mopar PCM..?:eh:

if they're seperate bulbs take them out

Thats the problem...There the headlight bulbs which are 9007's The drl's are like a low wattage imput to them or something..I think they are computer controled which sucks

mopar doesnt make PCMs for 02s. i can find out if they can do a custom flash for it, its $430 plus overnight shipping one way (they pay for it back), so youd lose your truck for a few days, but it gained me .4 in the 1/4 :thumbsup:

Hmm...Whats a better idea doing the mopar flash or getting one of those superchip micro-tuners..I can get the tuner for 325..I found out to dis-able my stuipid fucking auto lights I need a US spec Front conrtol module...Gotta find a way for warrenty to cover this lol

or you could put a small resistor in the wire, or a relay that requires the full 12 volts

That might work but i dont really feel like fucking something up that module control just about everything and it uses a pulse signal to control the highbeams to run in DRL mode...Wish it was like a chevy where as I could pull the bulb or on the 03 and newer you can turn them on and off :wtf2:

for the ease of it, i would say the micro tuner because you dont need the extra .2 the custom flash will give you over it. if you were going to all out drag race, then its worth it :thumbsup:
