Yea Jake, better watch out for my lil' 335 ... hahaha j/k man. Jake beat him by about 3 cars, but jake was also on street tires...from what I hear Ronnies car HOOKS.

ok..thanks dev...i was SO scared..? im more scared of the fuzz fuckin my life up...

he coulda ran whatever he wanted...they told me he would run no bottle so whatever. i was ahead by 3 cars about 200ft before the finish line when i LET OFF. he got me out of the hole by 1.5-2 cars...him slicks..me street tires.

he didnt tell him anything, he said he would run him with the bottle off, he never gave him the option or anything. he layed down that challenge and it was run. shit, you get challenged every week, how many times have you run on the lake? and their power is pretty damn close. im not sure if ronnie is runnin an auto or not. but i know his 60' is probably 1/2- 1 full second faster then jakes on the street.

How do you figure? his motor without the juice is 238rwhp... Even if Ronnie lost by 5 cars lengths (which he didn't) because Jake stayed into it (we need to explain things better), I think the NOx vs Eaton would have been a pretty fair HP battle.

Nick is right. Ronnie was told that the race wouldn't happen on the bottle. Doesn't really matter. Ronnie is only running off 6 cylinders... Oops, where those pistons go?

As for juice. Ronnie claims a 150shot, which is ABOUT right if you look at the numbers. He COULD potentially be running a 200 shot, but nothing more.

I actually poked at Jake and told him to take the belt off the blower if he didn't want to race against the juice... LOL.

Anyway... Jake. Get some DR's or ET Streets and some REAL suspension in the back and come and take that damn trophy from Jesse. You guys are making ABOUT the same power and neither of you can hook on the street.

if u wer enot there...SHUT THE FUCK UP. as brad said...too scared to race down there...i was..still am. u guys do check it good..but cars can still come up from the other way which they did, and im not ready to lose my license yet. i was nervouse as fuck. did i want to race? no. someone just said..jake, u and ronnie should race. i said no. i kkept getting pushed and then they were like he wont use the bottle. i still said no. i just wasnt up for it. but then i was just like fuck it..i wanna race. he could have used the juice, i dont care. ive lost MANY races in the past...it wouldnt be a first. i was peddling my car in frigin 2nd gear..ask matt. and i let off WAY before the finish line....WAY. wana do it again? ill hold out till the end. brad...u and me on the track..u said it..u only race at the track and the highway...track..lets go...:thumbsup:

Yeah I get nervous as fuck and blow my launch ... but damn it sure is fun. To be honest in about 75 races that I've seen no one has ever gotten caught ... so I'd say its pretty secure.

well i'm more of a fan of spot racing then planned racing, however it brings a lot more risk so its better to do what you guys do. i dunno, the only semi organized racing ive done was on rt 20 infront of big y. the rest has just been someone pullin up next to me.

you guys do a good job of makin sure peopel are safe and are not gonna get caught. but i still understand where jake is coming from. i am wicked scared to lose my liscense cause if i do then i lose my job and i have to withdraw from school. so if he is worried about losing hsi liscence then fine, leave him alone and dont pressure him into racing. granted in the end it is still HIS choice, but you guys do ahave a big impact on peoepl making decisions.

P.S. ill race anything, i dont care how much i lose by. its the thrill of the race that drives me.

With his suspension, there is no way his car will hit low 11's, nor 10's. Boot around that his car weighs a shitload. Brad's car is teh hotness, but not a drag car. just a cool powerful, tire burning, cruiser.

Just catching this one so excuse the late reply...

I see just about all races down there from start to finish (unless I'm in one) and watched both from start to finish.

The marks were Jesse's in the right lane. They went clear to the second telephone pole (aside from a 3 foot empty patch where he shifted). Do the math, if telephone poles are 100 ft apart and he was actually trying to hook I'd say someone needs to ditch his air shocks... :poke: :D

The first one (and apparently the most discussed). Ronnie pulled Jake by almost three cars out of the hole. Jake pedaled first for maybe 20 feet then shortshifted into second and eased into the throttle. Somewhere between 100 and 200 feet before the finish line jake got on the brakes (I know this for a fact, I see all braking from my vantage point, it was also reinforced when on the ride back Jake asked me "So, where exactly is the finish line anyway?") Ronnie saw Jake brake early so he let off too just after that. Either way, assuming the same launch, (which would be tough considering one was on ET Streets, the other F1's) it would be fair to say that Jake would have at least 5 cars on him, after all, even with his wheelspin isn't that the difference he made up within just over a thousand feet?

No matter how much power you have, you still have to use it efficiently to get a good time. Last year i went to the track and did a 13.06, and then my next run was a 13.7. This year i ran a 12.4, and then a 13.3 with the same 115mph both runs. With slicks or et streets i will be capable of 11's, but who knows.
All i am trying to say is power def. isnt everything. I will find out the power i have may 1st , this is before i get it tuned with a custom chip. This should help my times even more....if i can hook up. I know for a fact my car is lighter than those new cobras, so if i have between 400 -500rwhp then i should be close to brads car....right? But i will see may 1st what i have before the custom chip and tune. For all i know i have 350rwhp, but i dont care if i can do 11's with it......
