i just wanted to say thank you for one of the best, if not the best summer ive had in a long time. its kinda funny how it actually turned out considering i thought most of the guys were cocks online that i wanted to kill lol. now a few of you are like brothers to me, somewhat retarded brothers who belong in the special olympics, but its all good. i remember the 2nd or 3rd time the now STR crew hung out on main street and we met up with the chicken guys and me and ken were like "WTF, they're all older guys and a couple of them are fat" lol. its a good thing i can say that now knowing i wont get my ass beat and that im not small either lol. so, im glad i met you guys and i cant wait till next year when it gets warm again. :thumbsup: thank you all and have a nice night :worship2:

on a serious note....he is right. i had an awesome summer with you guys. i know i wasnt around a few times but when i was i had a blast. i think next year will be even better..specially with my new toy....race anyone?? lol

I fully agree. Pretty much one of the best summers I can remember. Aside from breaking up with a long term girlfriend, not having a fast car on the road, and being broke and jobless, it was definately a GREAT time. Hopefully next summer can rival this one.

i agree completely with everyone and espically with jay, no girl friend, no fast car, and well i had a job, but still no money. and the summer was still a blast. can't wait till next year when again i wont have a fast car, but i'll have a bad ass Dodge!! thats right a Dodge. my ma's giving me hers so she can buy something new. oh well, low miles, and a well taken care of truck means BLN4X4!!!:thumbsup:

Never knew you guys during the summer, but I must say this summer was awesome. I got my car on the road, took it to the Summer Nats...just had a great time all around.
Next summer will be 10 times better, at least for me anyways.

i just noticed you're dyno numbers, im disappointed with the 232hp, but it is a 305 stroker. holy fuckin torque though, thats just bad ass :thumbsup: what are the specs on your motor?

Yeah TPI motors are known for low hp & lotsa torque.. Lemme explain my dyno numbers first off..
First run, 3rd gear cutout closed... 224rwhp 347rwtq but had to shut down early cause my tires were wrinkling, not rated for those speeds. (I got 2.73's). Second run, 2nd gear cutout closed - 209rwhp 311rwtq. Third run, 2nd gear cutout OPEN - 232rwhp 317rwtq (21rwhp and 8rwtq more than through exhaust.) As you can see, numbers in 3rd gear are numerically higher than ones in 2nd...because 3rd is a 1:1 ratio.
So basically if I had Z rated tires, I could have done another 3rd gear run with the cutout open... I would expect to see around 250rwhp and 360rwtq.
Stock heads, stock plenum/runners/intake, stock fuel regulator, stock slipping tranny, stock computer. Motor is built bottom end, Keith black pistons, new rods w/ ARP bolts, Eagle crank. Mild cam 210/220 480/480 lift. Comp valvetrain, stock rocker arms. Could go on for days..

Hellz yeah im agreein wit everythgin that everyone so far has said. I have never had so mcuh fun as i did at Summer Nats this year. Gettin to meet, Jay, Chicken, Spence, Don , and Jesse all in one shot. and then more of the Chickens as the summer went along. I dont knwo how much money and gas i wasted going out there every weekend, but it was worht it for damn sure.
Thanx for the best summer of my life guys, i hope next one will be even betta with the Beretta runnin a bit faster
