ME vs JAKE

we went from a roll twice, the first time i was in 4th at like 60 or 70 i think ( wasnt payin attention to the speedo) and he left me. jimmy was in the passenger seat of jakes car and just put his hands up like :eh: :wtf1: so, i kicked it down to second at about 11k then we went. i left him take off first and he was next to me through the top of second, third and when i shifted into 4th i left him. i was short shifting at 14k though (15,500 redline). its all on tape, footage to follow.

i wish my talon could take out a low 12 second stang on the highway :thumbsup: but for now, the bike is the only thing that will. damn i love bone stock 600s that will do high 10s, low 11s :worship2:

why u say that brad? his bike is prolly (in real time) a little over a second faster than my car in a 1/4 race. thats about 4-5 car lengths. i stayed with him through 3rd..hit 4th and he walked about 2 cars up before we shut down.

keep in mind, my 3rd is VERY short, like 2-3 seconds (short shifting) and i was shifting nicely. i would have pulled a little more if i pretensioned the shifter and just shifted by peggin the revv limiter, but i try not to do that if i dont have to. and it puts down 105 to the wheel usually. and its 600 pounds with me on it and a full tank (just filled up when we left). if it was from a stop, im sure it would have been easier for me as first and second take off like an f16 about to kill some towel heads.

as to the accident, im ok. im still havin a tough time walking and i cant lean on that side of have anything touch it. it hurts when my pants rub it with enough pressure. i can move my arm a little more today, but i still cant rotate it that much and the worst part is i cant scratch my back lol. its all good, im alive and nothing is broken (that i know of lol). hopefully this will be the last time this year i dump it, all saturday i was debating just getting rid of the damn thing because stupid assholes in SUVs are gonna kill me because they want coffee, but i think im just going to take it out only when theres not much traffic so i can just play and not have to worry about other people.

as soon as the rest of you get your shit together and realize its worth the payments to be able to crash it at 25mph and not be able to walk for a couple days because the bruising is so bad lol, ill deff cruise around with you guys :thumbsup:

Isn't this like your second time dumping the thing this year? Perhaps it's time to trade it in for something more your speed, learn how to ride it, or get a set of training wheels?

Back on topic, I had an F3 a few years back and was racing a friends mid 12 second GSX on the highway and he kept right up with me through 3 gears. You'd think a bike would be a hell of lot quicker on the highway, but it just isn't the case.

i paced and pulled on my buddies 929RR on the highway before in my car....

after a certain speed, bikes get :owned: by serious aerodynamic problems......and they just dont have the torque to push through it as quick as a larger engine does

hey fuckhead, the first time was my fuck up because i didnt cheak the tires for water after i went over some ice leavin my house and that one wasnt bad. this time someone fuckin cut me off and i had to lock up the brakes and i hit a pothole, seeing that you know soo fuckin much about riding, how bout you tell me what i could have done to stop that one??? and more my speed? i was going 15 mph and 20-25mph. i wasnt speeding, fuckin around or anything else. i had no problems racing all last summer and doing stupid shit at 100-120mph through traffic and takin some sweet S curve off and on ramps at stupid speeds last year. i know how to ride, im not the most experienced, but im better then most people i know who have them and most of them havent dumped. i just have shit luck. so say something constructive or go fuck yourself

I have pulled my buds gsxr 750 with relative ease on the highway, and I have walked past by training partners 2003 R1 but it was 140 + and he was loosing his grip as it was 40 out and he was freezing LOL! Race pretty much any of these bikes from a light or under a 50 punch and you will see them sail of into the sunset. That was all with my old H/C setup, not sure how the new 600+ rwhp I have now will do but Im sure I can walk most bikes on the highway now. Maybe not the busa though. I will find out on a warm day against the R1 again Im sure. I will video it too in case I dont get to slaughtered.

They should give bikes mounted machine guns..watch how fast you guys suddnely dont get cut off anymore :ak1: That sucks but at least your didnt get to hurt.
