Ok here's the deal..I just installed the stealth ram intake to get ride of the pos stock intake. I had the car running after I timed it using the old thumb over #1 cylinder trick and it ran mint. Got it to kickout sideways at 35mph. Then I parked it in the garage and it wont start up again. I did the same thing yesterday and jumpstarted it and then it wouldn't strat again. I think it might be something related to the ignition and when it heats up.. It's msd 6al and msd blaster coil and stock drisributer with 108k mi on it...HELP before I blow it up for the insurance money !!!! :ak1: :bash:

Yeah it'll just crank and crank and i know it's getting fuel cause the plug i pulled out was soaked. I also noticed when i swapped the cap cause it was lookin a little burnt that there was some major build up on the metal inside..looked like corosion...thinkin about just springin for the MSD dist.

if the inside of the distributor is corroded and has metal shavings in it then it is most likely the distributor. The metal shavings are the bearings of the distributor.....

Well I rebuilt the distributer with all new internals today..only cost me $40 and it was a fun little project..it started right up but then went back to doing the same thing..thinking this time it might be just the battery so i'm gonna charge that and go from there. Thanks for all the help guys!
