Complaints/Suggestions about the rules

I am going to keep this thread open for some time (potentially forever) to give you (the forum users) a chance to offer feedback about the rules. I have recently put up a set of global rules that apply to all forums and individual rules in all of the individual forums as well. I did this not to try and express control over the users but rather to give the moderators something to go by when moderating and the users an understanding why some of their things may in fact have been moderated in the past. However, this is a forum by the users and for the users so if you have any issues with any of the rules posted, post them here and hopefully I can address your issues. I am not saying the rules will necessarily change if you whine enough ... but I am saying my ears and eyes are open. Thank you.

This appears to be built into the forum software. I guess I could go edit the php but I'm not feeling overly ambitious right now.

everything i click on opens in the origional window, the only thing that brings up a new windows are url links in threads, at least for me..

same here. i think it has something to do with your browser. i think explorer will open a new one, but aol wont

i'm using explorer 6.028xxx and no such option exisits..
however. a stuck Shift key will cause new windows to open w/ explorer on every link clicked.

hmm, :eh: i thought it did on my explorer, but i dont use it often, so umm, ..yea :eh:

Windows Explorer has an option like that...
it's under Tools -> Folder Options...
but i belive it only works within the windows filing system, opening local folders... not for web links
Internet Explorer doesn't :smokin:
