These rules are in addition to the rules in the main forum (which apply to all forums).
Forum Purpose: The classifieds section is just that, an area to advertise products you wish to buy or sell and negotiate prices and/or the logistics behind those purchases.
#1. Please be respectful of anyone who is posting an item for sale. Do not openly bash or otherwise degrade their post. Keep the post on-topic. There will be a lower tolerance for bullshit in this forum.
#2. If someone is posting an item for sale and you believe the item is defective or otherwise faulty do not openly bash the item. If you feel obligated to warn potential buyers then either PM anyone who expresses interest in the item with your opinions or start a new thread in the lounge. This is not a popularity contest and it is not fair to sellers to be heckled by forum users. This is the classifieds section. Opinions are for the lounge.
#3. If you feel you have been sold a defective product or ripped off you can indeed warn forum users but it must happen in the lounge. I am hoping to eventually introduce a feedback/rating system for sellers but for right now let's keep this forum clean.
#4. Do not offer a competing product in another seller's thread (this is a extension of rule #1). Please start a new thread and list your item and your potentially better price there.
