Crushing a 1g BOV

Yeah put it between two pieces of wood in a vice and just compress it until the top crunches down just enough so that you don't bend or fuck up the vacuum nipple. And an even better way of doing it, is doing the Gus mod. Check out the VFAQ, there's a pretty good writeup on it in the Intake section.

And yes it's worth it, if you're unmodified BOV leaks, besides it's free.

You did an actual pressure test or just have your buddy stick his ear near it when you revved the piss out of the engine?

A lot of people overlook boost leaks and don't think it has much of an affect on performance. However, a friend picked up something like 4/10ths in the 1/4 by just fixing all his boost leaks.

my friend had a 300zx TT and everyday we found more and more boost leaks, those engines are horrible at popping off hoses and getting boost leaks :lol: it was an adventure everyday
