Cobra dilemma...

so im all set to get the car..loans approved, money ready. pretty much every dealer has a silver 10th which i have paperwork on. if u dont know, the 10th anniversary's have red brake calipers, red seat and door inserts, svt says "10th anniversary" under it, oh and the shift knob is carbon fiber. all this is $1600. now im not a big "RED" fan but it grew on me. but i think in the long run i wont like it. i found ONE regular silver cobra in RI...which i think im gonna go down to tomorrow. what u guys think?

i'd get a regular one, the red is just fugly, and it will look like aboslute dog shit once it wears.

Sonic blue is very very played out and honstly, I dont think it looks right on the stang. The zinc yellow aka PISS YELLOW looks horrible too. If you're going to get yellow wait on the screaming yellow in 04. Otherwise I like the color you're going for now, not many people have the silver. I think some crazy number like 1/3 the 03's are sonic blue.

I see this dark grey 03'Cobra a few times a week.The car looks Evil in that color.Like it wants to eat your babies or something.Stock exhaust sounds nasty when he gets on it too.Very mean looking car.

The stock exhaust makes it sould like a v6. The color you're talking about is Dark Shadow Grey. Thats hands down my fav color, the only reason I didnt get that was because it was not an option on first run 03's.

Sorry to get off topic,but that guy must have gone for aftermarket pipes.The car sounds tame at idle,but when he hits it,it just growls.I love that sound.

Hey man,
I own an 87 Gt that has a couple of mods done to it. Hands down that dark shadow grey is the color I will paint it when I can afford it. That color is so badass. Yes, Brad is right here folks. Just the way it looks on the body lines, especially in the sun, make the car look mean as hell. Then again, if you like a certain color than go with it. Its your car and you are making the payments, not any of us jamokes.:thumbsup:

he picked it up tonight, he went to a third dealership and found a demo with 1900 miles for cheap money. they even hooked him up with his trade in hard core and didnt care aboout the primer. so he got hooked up SWEET :thumbsup:
