hey i dont know anything specifi about rear ends. im going to put a ford 9 inch in my firebird and i dont know where to start. i know i need the housing, carrier, yoke, axles, gears, and other assorted shit, but i dont know any of the specifics.

i'd find a housing, axles, brakes, and all that shit before a center section....a center section is the easiest piece of the puzzel, if you can find a kit like the one from quick performance then all you'd need is a center section, and that makes things cheap

Pat, the hard part is getting a housing that fits your car. The centersection is the easy part. Make sure you have a housing you can afford first then worry about finding a centersection :thumbsup:
