i just spraypainted my truck, and got some overspray on the windsheild

my quiestion is that when i got o spray some more, instead of taping it off can i just put a layer of wax on the lgass and the parts i dont wnat to spray on ? and then wipe it off once i am done or will the paint go through it ?

just a thought i had, and it is only spray paint, not a real paint job

just mask it off, it's quick easy, and peels off faster than you could wash the wax off..

to take the stuff off thats on there already, overspray clay will work on the glass pretty good....easier than scraping

depends on the amount of over spray... razors tend to work better on glass w/ heavier amounts of over spray..
clay bar seems to work good for slight amounts.. spray on the glass cleaner and then clay bar..
nothing prevents overspray like a good masking job..
1" roll of tape a razor and some masking paper = key.

if theres that much paint on the window, then there are other problems that need to addressed first
