I need a shop that works on bikes other then the local dealers
motorsports or putnam yamaha/kawasaki
Something is fucked w/ the bike and I am sick of trying to figure it out myself

It bogs down under acceleration. It was doing it when i was over around 40% throttle, so I changed the spark plugs and fuel filter. The problem got worse. Now 1st gear is fine but 2-6 it wont go over 5k w/out bogging.

that sounds like something is up with the carbs ...that bike is still carbed right? i think it is have you messed with jets at all?

I have an appointment w/ a local mechanic on wed. So we'll see how that goes. When I got my oil changed at motorsports last time they told me my jets were in need of being replaced but i figured it was them trying to make money. And yea it is carbs
