Need info on 89 Vic

Well since I'm here, I should post something... I have an 89 CV with the 5.8L carb'd. I need a new carb for it since it runs terrible. Variable Venturi I think? In any case, should I spend the money and rebuild it or is there a carb that will fit on there that's aftermarket? I want the car to run somewhat normally but I'm not normal so maybe it doesn't matter. Either I fix this or I'm just gonna buy another one. So let me know your thoughts.

call up edlebrock or holly...they must make a factory replacement peice for it.
