My quad, 87 TRX250X has a blown 3rd gear, it slips and clicks when you are in it. But I was riding it today at the Brockton pits and I let my friend ride it (big mistake) and I think he beat the shit outa it because when I went to ride it again about a quart/.75 of a quart of oil lpissed out. And I think it is from the seal where the sprocket is, I looked under and I didn't see any oil and I didn't ride it after that happened. Any idea where else it could have came from?

how about the seal on the shifting shaft that goes into the crankcase? sometimes those leak oil when the shifter is hammered around

i'd bet it burned it, seeing that its an 87, and obviously not meticulously cared for cuz you ride it with a busted transmission.
