How hard is it to put a tranny into an ATV? Specifacly (sp) a TRX250X sport.

Might have to split the case but im not to sure...a few guys here have some done up quads that can chime in

:stupid: gonna have to brake the whole motor down anyways and split the cases to see what's wrong. If it's just something simple like a shifter fork then it's not to bad but if you have to replace gears it can get complicated with all the clips and stuff. Either way if you're mechanically inclined it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. If you are gonna do it yourself get a manual for the quad that brakes everything down in diagrams...they're a life saver trust me.
