ATV Question

Found this really nice ATV.
"I am selling this 1987 honda 250X, it is currently not running because of some electrical problem, it has new stator pickup, complete wiring harness, coil, and CDI box. so that kindof narrows it down."

Any one have any idea what could be wrong with it?

Could be something as stupid as a bad kill switch, bad ground, ign. switch from the ad its kinda hard to tell what could be wrong. Might not even be related to the electrical might be a bent valve broken cam no mention of compression or if it is even getting spark. For the price that he is asking could be worth going to take a look at it or see if he has done a compression test or as if it has spark.

But anyway I sent him an email asking if he feels anything coming from the exhaust when he kicks it.

This was the reply:
yea, quad kick and turnsover fine. What i noticed is when you kcik it, its
only sparking once on the spark plug. it does fire, but only once. Maybe
just a bad coil. I've just put too much money into this thing, and have no
time to ride it anymore either.
