ok, heres the deal. ive planned on doing a TT/ T-56 project with the truck. well, now i dont know what to do. since the release of the new cobra, its been killing me. i LOVE it. so, should i sell the truck and spend the $35k in the spring to get a cobra and run 10s on a couple grand OR take my truck that i spent $17k on and have a few grand into already and spend about $15k on it to make it run high 11s on the stock motor, 10s with a built up 408 stroker. this project is being put off due to financial problems and i need to start getting prices if i am going to follow through with it. on a non-speed side of this, i LOVE the fact that id be one of the only TT RT dakotas in the world, maybe the ONLY TT/ T-56 dakota. as we all know, i like the originality, esp when there are soo many 03s that are sickly fast.

plus how are you gonna find that many mismathcing body panels for a cobra?

easy, just get into an accident and replace it with primered body parts from different companies:thumbsup:

ive wanted one since they came out. esp once people started modding them. i was considering a used zo6 too, but it doesnt have the same moddability VS price that the cobra does unless you juice it and $40/week on juice would get old fast.

Trade the truck for an 02' mach 1 and be like the second guy out there to put a blower(KenneBelle,make it a wheel standing torque monster) on it.My freind scored an 02' mach for 22'000 I think.Under 25,000 either way.That would be a sick ride.Do it.
