SBC or BBC for the truck..

well i'm not about to spend $3K on the top end of my truck and have the bottom end shit the bed.. so.. i'll most likely be putting together a motor all of this summer.. question is what should i go with a Big Block or a Small Block.. i don't really have a price limit... it will most likely be driven all year round though.. i know for a fact i'll never be satisfied with any amount of horsepower..
so what kind of oppinions are floating around??

454 H.O. crate, theres still some around...425hp with alot of room for mods...the tranny in your truck will handle it no prob (i know guys that put those stock tranny's in for rock crawling with ungodly amounts of torque) and if the rear goes throw in a 14FF and you'll never blow anything up again...the power band on this motor is very useable too

So a bbc would require different accesories etc
I'd put a stock 350 in it, anything else is a waiste of $$ imo
