whats the difference? i know drag springs are engineered for traction and weight transfer, so does that amke them stiffer or softer? :eh:

soft in front stiff in rear , it lets the front store energy and the rear gets pre-loaded to one side, drag springs are orrible for the street.

negative....actually your fighting rear end squat, but its a losing battle
the more the rear squats on a launch, the more of the launch energy just got eaten up by the suspension instead of making the car stick to the track and go fast.

Most drag front springs are softer and have more coils than a street spring. They will release energy when you launch at the track.
Good for the track bad for the street.

Yeah thats what I thought, because is see drag cars at the track taking slow coners and the whole car leans over on it door handles and stays that way even goin straight for awhile. Plus shock ratings. Like 90/10 front shock. I am not sure if this is right but it takes 10% of the force to release the shock or having expand to its full travel, and it take 90% of the force to contract it. So when you launch the front get raises up real quick putting the weight transfer to the rear quickly and then when it comes down it take alot of force to make the shock contract. Fuck! not sure if this is right. Fuck shit fuck!

calm down man....you pretty much have it there lol.
some companies make special drag struts that expand like a 90/10 but settle down much quicker after launch to make the car more stable down the track
