Get a custom cage, will cost you the same in the end unless you are going to install it yourself and you also get the benefit of having it bent to fit your needs, rather than the average mustang. PM Mystic1199, he has a cowl hood for sale and maybe a saleen wing too.

Saleen wings are the beginning of the POS parts for a stang. Its almost as bad as putting a sbc motor in one:bash: . unless you want people to think they can put their food tray on it like in a high school lunch line:lol:

Tube Chassis Design does excellent work also. He did my 8 point cage and everyone that sees the welds asks who did it..they are reallly smooth and the bends are perfect. They are in Rockland and do drag cars all the time. When i went there he was finishing up a full caged 80's camaro....so many bars it looked impossible to get into.....lol

realfast89, what'd you pay for yours? Did you have them tear out the interior and put it back in or did you strip your car down first?

I cant remeber the exact price...but i think around $700? And the guy tells you not to touch the interior because in order to make it fit right he needs to know how the interior will be with the cage. That way he can make all the measurements before he takes the seats and stuff out so once it is done it will all fit back in . Makes sense if you think about it....i had most of my interior stripped already...( going to have it painted after cage installation) and he told me to bolt in the seats before i brought it to him.

Tube chassis moved to Hanson on rte 27 behind cataldi's restaurant. You won't find anyone better for his work quality. His prices are competitive and w/ a mustang you can call him to setup the appointment and hwen you get there he has most of the bars already bent so all he has to do is weld it in. He does so many of these its like 2nd nature to him.

I have a Saleen wing if you want it, free of charge if you come and get it. Only thing is there are a few cracks in it from a little miss-hap. If your good with fiberglass then it shouldn't be a problem. I can get pics if your interested.

HiFlow5.0, can you show me some pics so I can see how bad it really is? If its decent, i'll take the ride out to Springfield for it. :smokin:
