yes, you'll just need to oval out the holes on the intake.

And put the heads on the 327

Then spray it :)

Shouldn't be too big of an issue. Depending on what you do with the motor you might need bigger injectors (most likely) and if you take advantage of the rev ability of the 327 some serious port work on the intake. Aside from a possible custom chip (or a standalone) I think everything will work out just fine

For the 305..
Intake - Holley Stealth Ram (around 400 bucks outta Summit, makes even modified TPI look silly). Although if you still want some sick low end torque like TPI has, I would just port the plenum and get some SLP siamesed runners.

Don't go larger on the injectors, the computer will still think the 19lber's are in there and it will dump fuel in there and cause it to run rich. If you want larger injectors, like Matt said, get a custom chip burnt.

As far as those 305 heads go, do you know the casting number on them? What kind of 305 are they off of, TPI, TBI, carbed etc.

If you were to drop in the 327, I would get some better heads to take advantage of that 4.00" bore. I'd probably go carburated too, since thats the easiest way to make alot of power. Honestly IMO, even highly modified TPI won't be able to rev high enough for a 327. If you want to keep EFI with the 327, once again go Holley Stealth Ram.

Hey guy's noobie to the forum, what year is that 327? what heads are on it? I've always loved the 327's for what their worth in terms of upper rpms, so I've owned a few in my lifetime, preferred the 427 but that's another issue for a rainy day..

i think the motor is arond 65, i think thats what year the vette is the motor is a spare for that.

ken:do us all a favor, how much do you want to spend? that is always the ultimate question. if you wanna go with some decent money, forge the shit out of the internals, get a set of aftermarket heads that will mate to the TPI, get an upgraded aftermarket TPI setup, upgraded TB, you're going to NEED bigger injectorts, its not an option to run the stockers, you'll run out of flow and you will need a custom burned chip (if the sensors will hook to the 327) or a stand alone. i think that about covers it

if you wanna be cheap, do what spence said:bash:

If it's a 65 it's a small journal crank meaning high RPM potential, if it's still original it already has forged rods and crank (the best thing chevy did) what are the casting numbers on the heads? 461, 461x, 462? I got a lot of left over parts for 327's in a box like brand new bearings, I got a ton of holley stuff, so much more but that's beside the point..You can make that 327 into 400 STREETABLE horses with a few thing's I have done...let us know and I can keep the price under 1,000.00
