i have one of my PC's up for sale. mind you, this is two years old but is as fast and stable as the latest and greatest systems. quicker than my dad's P4 2.6/512MB in all around performance, applications, gaming, etc. i believe it benchmark tested higher than the P4 2.6 also.
anyway, here is a description of it:
- HP Pavilion 9800 full tower (silver and dark gray) with, i believe, a 300W power supply
- AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.33Ghz processor
- AMD Socket A mainboard
- 512MB PC2100 DDR RAM (upgradable to 2GB, i believe)
- 80GB 7200RPM hard drive
- nVidia geForce 2 GTS 4X AGP graphics card w/ 64MB DDR VRAM
- Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live sound card
- Pioneer DVD-ROM drive (16X DVD/40X CD)
- TDK VeloCD CD-R/RW drive (16X12X40)
- 3.5"/1.44MB internal floppy drive
- Iomega 3.5"/250MB internal ZIP drive
- 4 USB ports (2 on front of tower/2 on rear)
- 10/100 ethernet card
- 56k modem
- internal 80mm cooling fan
- HP internet keyboard
- 3 button mouse
- original HP documents/manuals/recovery CD's
- freshly formatted hard drive with a new copy of Microsoft Windows XP Professional installed
this is a real nice computer and is extremely quick and stable. never crashes (even with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, IE, and Illustrator running simultaneously). two years old and have all receipts totaling over $2400.
i don't want anywhere near top dollar for this machine so make a reasonable offer if interested.
