Z51 is a Corvette suspension package. My fathers has the Z07 package (same thing as a Z51, they called it Z51 from mid 80s-early 90s, switched it to Z07 in mid 90s, and now its back to calling it Z51 for the C5s). Basically its stiffer shocks/struts, better bushings, bigger brakes and calipers, and usually different sized wheels and tires.

So no, that C5 is not misbaged. It's heads, cam, spray just like Bren said. I dunno if he used the spray in those races. He's got a polished Magnacharger on the car now, although I forget where the guys website is.

actually turbo miatas don't all run 15's, just low boost ones like mine.

With an ecu my set up could hit 13's.

whats your turbo miata stat based on? are you aware of the fact 1.8's respond a lil better to mods than the 1.6? no , didnt think you did.....and the point with the hole thing is that he got owned anyways so it doesnt even matter if he beats him out of the hole or not. he was also doing the 3 count, which would give him even more of an advantage out fo the hole. cool how he got owned anyways, i love dsm owners who think there car is king shit. lol, you KNOW they told all there buddies "yea, we got wasted but i smoked him out of the hole":lame:

hate to burst your bubble but the 1.8 stats aren't all that different.

The reasons why 1.6 cars are usually considered slower is because most people just buy the greddy and slap the base, low psi kit on.

theres penty of greddy based kits into the 13's and a few even into the 12's.

GReddy based lol, as in using their piping and maybe their blow off valve, the big guys replace all the key components to go fast, the same is with si's, there are base kits doing anything from 160 whp to 220 whp. Its all in the tuning and upgrading. You going to tell me people run 12's with the non intercooled greddy kit or 15+ psi through that dick sized starion front mount? lol no.

noone is touching 12's with that ballsack sized turbo you run zach

I have the 2.5 ehxaust with no cat and race muffler.
I have a profec boost controller
I have the intercooler
I can pick up injectors for under 200
fuel rail is nickle dime
and theres no need for a pump with big injectors and the link

It's very realistic.

However, I'll admit I'll probably never see 12's....EVER
