I just bought a sea doo challenger jet boat. Its runs okay but when i put it in the water it just dies and dies and dies. Its really getting the best of me. Its a rotax 2 cylinder 2 stroke and im wondering if anyone knows how to do the timing on these machines, or adjust the carbs?? Or any ideas in general.

Check the jet induction. My stepdad's jetski was doing that and that ended up being the problem, something was stuck inside it.

like polish said, i would check to see if there is anything in the intake grate that sucks in the water. I had a problem with my jet ski doing that and it was actually a rope that had twisted around the shaft that I sucked in. Just the added resistance of the water was doing it. Also what year is it? Size motor? If it has the rotax rotory valves it will have to be cleaned or replaced and that coudl do it too
