not much of a suggestion, if at all possible a larger avatar allowance, the one on bms is too small and my pic looked like shit.

and once a month spence should just get hit.

A suggestion from me is maybe a section for questions specifically how to install certain parts on certain cars. for instance someone buys a part for a 68 mustang and needs a hand putting it in. They could ask it in the" FORD" tech section. Just like a walkthrough type thing that is real easy to find and you dont have to ask everyone the question. Only people that go into this section of the forum. Once again, it is just a suggestion. Thanks!

Right now the avatars are limited to 20k ... I think this is reasonable for a 50x50 image. Let me know if this is giving you problems I can up it.

Until we get a sizable user base I have no intention of creating any more forums. I only want to create additional forums if one forum is really getting too much traffic. For instance ... if the tech section was getting bombarded with too so many posts so fast that you couldn't keep up then I would branch it into two or three smaller forums.

Also, if you are looking for something tech related and ford specific then use the search feature and search only the tech section for "ford" stuff.

Does that make sense?

Since I'm sure this is going to get lost in the 500-page thread going on over in Off Topic at the moment, here's what I wrote over there:

Maybe there should be a separate section labelled, "I don't feel like a man without a real post count," or "Post Whore Central" just for people who really feel that the number of posts under their username is really that important.

Might get rid of some of the clutter...

Either that, or just have one of the admins boost up everyone's count by a few hundred to get rid of whatever limitations you guys are trying to bypass.

Well my intention is for Newbies to post in the General section ... in fact the General section is intended for the following

Newbie introductions
Meets/gatherings
Generic motorsports news/talk.

I'm trying to keep the forums consolidated.

I will, however, add a test section right away. I am willing to add a newbie section if enough people think it's a good idea ... as stated above I'd prefer if new people introduced themselves in the general section (I will modify the section description for this.)

I just modifed the title rules and I am hoping this will allow people with over 100 posts to use a custom title. Please give it a shot and let me know people.

Ok I figured it out ... I'm a fucking idiot. I set the rules so that you needed 100 posts AND had been a user for 30 days. Eventually I may go back to enforcing a time minimum but since the board is young I will set this to 2 days. So 100 posts and 2 days is the new requirement for custom titles. The avatar limit is still 100 posts.
