Yeah since the paint was still left on the right quarter panel, the aerodynamic drag kept him back. He needs to be primered like all the rest of the mustangs.

You forget that your average BPU supra runs 14's@114.

That supra must have had DR's because he did alright off the line. Once going the supra was slowly crawling away but nothing too special ... then again a 351 stang isn't all that fast if that's all it has ...

yeah im not sure if the stang would win but i know it would be alot closer.....this just hits home cause i raced a BPU supra and lost by about 3inches......it pisses me off cause imy car was faster i took off my air cleaner that was setup for ram air and put on this dinky little chrome one....that went in the trash the next day....i know my car would of handed that car it s ass to cause he lost to a car that i beat pretty bad the weekend before.

look at the video, the supra does a burnout, rolls slow then comes to a dead stop, watch the wheels, then starts creeping ever so slightly WITH THE MUSTANG at the same spot in the door and right before they launch the supra maybe has half a NOSE head start on him with the .5 mph roll.

if he was rolling to any significance we would of been out in front of the cameras view to the point the mustang passenger would of had to move the camera, the mustang was right along side of him with maybe giving the supra a half a nose, THE MUSTANG WAS ROLLING TOO.

NickPSI's DSM has like 45093049 miles on it and it has 0 problems and it doesnt have any tuning either, it doesnt take much to make one reliable

I concur that if there was anything involving rolling or lead (hard to tell from the angle the video was shot at) then yeah it could have made a difference ... but the Supra obviously had more power than the stang so it was basically the Supra's race to lose (they do this alot) ... end of story.

That stang had to be juicing to keep up with the Supra ... that turbo setup is good for a solid 475-500RWHP at street boost. If he had race gas then make that 550-575RWHP.
