i hate my car (tranny probs.)

fucking tranny. so yesterday im in traffic, have it in neutral, and the fucking thing barley shifts into gear. 1st through 5th, same fucking thing, i have to literaly muscle it into gear, and when i do, the fucking thing shifts, you can feel it in the whole car. PLUS i found out what the ticking in my car was, sounded like the engine.....NOOOOOOOOOO, ITS THE TRANNY. i think its more serious than syncros, but well see. i hate life and my car, i award it no points and may god have mercy on its soul. who would of thought beating the piss out of cars would eventually bite you in the ass? have i learned my lesson? no

u gotta think of it this way, miatas werent built to be beaten the piss out of

they were made for gods given fairies, fudgepackers and dickmunchers, you just got the short end of the stick and drove the wrong car

its ok tho, ive only seen a couple ok miatas, via turbo or such


check ur tranny fluid, drop ur pan and see if u can see anything there too, did u say u could feel the trany itself move? just visually check ur mount and bolts that line up to ur engine:thumbsup:

actually they take beatings well. there engine is pretty strong and this is the first major prob. ive had. and its not a bad car. lol, im driving the wrong car? HELLO, you own a caprice:no:

How's the clutch? That'd be my guess. Or, the linkage not actuating enough to release it?

thats what my teachers have been telling me, the linkage may be fucked, but even if it is, its still a very worn and beaten tranny (noisy and notchy)which needs replacing or rebuilding anyways. im not sure about the clutch though, it feels fine:eh:

My tranny isn't great either. It doesn't make noises but every now and then it doesn't like going into first and/or second so now I just double clutch all the time. That helps.
