i'd like to go with AFR but they only come in 68cc/74cc chambers.. don't know if that'd be good or not
i'd like to stick with either Dart or AFR though..
so i found these...
http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?action=prod_detail&catid=2688&pid=123605
then go with a Performer RPM intake
and a 650 holley/demon DP..
any thoughts on a cam though? XE 268H?
after settling on a combo i'd like some help just peicing it all together on paper w/ prices, making sure i'v got everything i need.. and some help putting it all together... i don't mean doing it for me.. i mean like watching to make sure i get things all setup right and together.. so i can do it by myself the next time..
i'v yanked the top end off before.. and put it back together.. it runs.. but.. just wanna make sure i get it right.. don't really feel like destroying $1000+ worth of parts..
thanks

Grab a summit catalog and come to dunks when everyone is there. Everyone is helping Timmy peice together his motor, so... Do the same. Come on down, we can all shoot the shit about the motor. Plus, you haven't been out in how long?

Not at dunks... Kinda hard to discuss motor builds at Monster Trucks.

I would go with the afr's, the flow numbers out of the box are very good, and the deck is 3/4 inch so if you want to add nitrous or boost later your all set. If you want a smaller cc chamber they will mill them for you to whatever you want. Go to chevyhiperfomance.com, they have tested a ton of sbc heads.

With the AFR 210's and the comp magnum 292, a performer rpm and 9.25:1 compression I went 11.50's at 118. I went up there and ran straight pump gas with no octane booster or anything. The magnum 292 might be bigger then your looking for it requires at least a 3000 stall converter and 3.90 gears (I ran 4.10's). But if you want mine I will sell it and I have the ATI 10 inch converter for a TH350 or TH400 to go with it.
