Running the 2.80 now, and by sat I'll be running the new 2.76, should lean me out to just where I wanna be. Its cool you have a set of goals, its just hard to put 500RWHP on the back burner.

I think half the problem is the only time I go to the track is street night. The only times I have dipped into the 12's have been:

A.) when its still warm out and the track temp is up
B.) when track prep has been pretty good.
C.) when I get out there before the ricers toss pistons and cover the track in goo.

for the most part I get out to the track when its in the 30's, after 7pm, and when the track is wrecked.

My bud with the kenne bell ran an 11.6 with a horrible 60 and no tune at epping during the day as his only run. then on a street night he pulled 12's all night with several runs.

You seem to go to the track alot, you know what I'm talking about.

well if i can pull a 12.8 @ 3700lbs, add slicks, live axle, bout 150lbs weight reduct (which is easily possible) im guessing a 12.3-12.4 is doable..

FINALLY a grounded 03 cobra owner

usually its .. if i just put on my seat belt and press my foot to the floor real hard .. delete my floor mats and add exhaust and a pulley ill be in the deep 8's

How many 03 cobra owners do you know ken? 2, jake and myself included? How many have you run into on the street? 1 in Detroit? You're starting to sound like the typical son of a vette owner.

I'm just saying ken has no point of reference. Most 03 cobra owners I've met seem like really nice people. Thats my experience having been around them alot, where as ken has no experience, he's just talking out of his ass to sound like he's got a clue.
