hey, heard u had a wild engine being built. mind goin into a lil detail on what it is and when itll b done?

Not being built, been sitting in my garage since June. I just got this crazy idea in my head to open my own shop and that ate up the rest of my budget so I couldn't put it in this year. All I need are a carb, (or efi), and headers. It's a 455 Pontiac w/ eagle rods, forged pistons, ported edelbrock heads, solid roller cam .631 lift int.& exh. 264/272 @ .05. The package is a dyno proven 600 horse on pump gas and I have a 2 stage NOS cheater kit to go on top of it. Looking to be driving a 9 second street car next year :cool2:

i think the hole idea of cross breeding vehicles is retarded.....keep it pure if it came with a ford motor or a chevy or a dodge....LEAVE IT ALONE

Once you reach a certain level of performance the parts cost pretty much the same regardless of make so it's really a preference thing. In the past the only advantage to going BBC was much better airflow through the heads. However, new things coming out in the Pontiac world will close up that gap significantly :cool2:
