ridiculous electric water pump installation
i put the electric water pump ive had hanging around for 2 years on last week, but it wouldnt clear my alternator belt, so i had to cut 4 water pump flanges out of some steel plate, then weld them to some tubing, worked ok....only took 10000 tries to figure out how to get them to not leak......then i had to fab up and idler pull setup to hold the alt belt where it belongs.
it works mint, the pump flows 19gpm, and keeps the engine nice and cold, granted its been really chilly out, but the car hasnt reached above 130 degrees yet, even on the dyno....hopefully it will keep the car around 160 in the summer time.
here is the pump with the extensions
