have for sale one 1999 Crown Vic. Dark blue exterior with blue cloth interior. Ex Connecticut state police car.
The Facts:
-Has 107,000 miles on it
-Runs perfectly
-New tires
-New brakes
-New U-Joints
-New spare tire and jack
-Oil changed religiously at 3,000 miles (I use Castrol Syntec, the previous owner liked synthetic)
-Power driver’s seat, mirrors, doorlocks, windows, and trunk release (two buttons, one in the door, one center dash)
I am the 2nd owner since it was in service. The paint is near perfect with a few small scratches consistent with use. There is no rust anywhere. The interior is about the same with clean seats, good carpet, and no holes in the dashboard. I have properly plugged three antenna and one lightbar hole in the roof. There is still one antenna in the center of the trunk lid and another on the passenger side rear quarter. I left those in place as I thought those two would look silly as plugs rather then antennas. It also has the driver’s side a-pillar spotlight. The previous owner replaced the front and back seats with cloth seats from another Crown Victoria. It has a carpeted (non-rubberized) floor.
The only other things that may be noteworthy are that the previous owner replaced one (not both) of the catalytic converters, and I think the other one has a mild rattle. He said it may need replacing eventually, but it passed Massachusett’s state inspection so I wasn’t worried about it.
I have to commute 60 miles a day down the Mass Pike to work, so believe me when I say it has given me no problems whatsoever. I have no real reason for selling, other than I don’t like it as much as I thought I would. Honestly I think I prefer box-bodies better, as I sold mine when I bought this and miss it greatly. Pictures are available on request. It can be seen in Worcester, MA.
I'm looking for $5900 obo. I can be reached at erikdunbar@verizon.net or 978-273-5377.
