I was wondering if any of you gearheads (I say that with the respect it deserves, I'm almost one.) know of anyone who is making these. I've got a Marauder, but may be able to use one for a stang. Any advice is appreciated.

I'd just get one of those large cone filters that clamps right into the maf. Then I'd fab up some custom heat shield. A cold air intake that goes into the fender seems to cause more trouble than good for our DOHC's.

Good advice, on the densecharger. Let me tell you some of the good points about it.

Fucked up idle
Stalling
Lean Condition
And you could make the same thing out of home depot PVC

Hey black99, have any experience with a densecharger? I didnt think so... You know alot about shit you've never had first hand experience with.

Awwwww, no experience with the densecharger.. thats too bad.. Ken and I talked to someone on the design teem and he was telling us, "I'd kill myself before I put it on my car." When it was on my car the thing ran like complete shit..

Either way, I'll shut the fuck up, dont want to make you look like a tool anymore tonight... whats your next idea for him? electric motor swap?

nix the dense charger .. seriously tho .. if you dont mind hacking some make-shift cold air kit .. take off the silencer in the fender well right before the filter .. and put a good filter on it .. cut out the cone around the intake tubing .. i mean .. it works .. and all the CAI's ive seen for stangs are really just Home Depot supplies made up all fancy .. good luck tho dude

He's right about this. The best thing you can do is mount the filter right after the MAF. If you want to go a step further you can try to shield it from the heat. The way mines setup is it draws air from the fender, he's a pic for ya. Good luck

Technically it is before the MAF... unless your blower is spinning backwards and sucking air out of the motor.... Sorry, felt left out, cuz usually it is me and you going back and forth making fun of eachother... well, or feral.

Brad,
he's running a maurauder, not an 03 cobra,
and certainly not an 03 cobra with an overspun eaton, that see's the rev limiter every day it's out..
just because daddy runs rodman ford, doesn't make you an expert on every ford related product know to man..
as well as, talking to one disgruntled tech, doesn't make the WMS velocity tube bad.. on a stock, or near stock N/A 4.6 the WMS should work more than fine... i know a couple dozen mustang owners who havn't had a problem with them...and i'm guessing if he wanted to hit home depot or lowes and make his own, he'd have already done it... instead of posting this..
and this statement proves your a douche..

There was a post about this topic, not for the marauder though, on svtperformance.com in the new edge cobra forum. You may wanna check it out.

Thanks guys, mostly. Yeah, if I wanted to hack up some pcv, I'd have already been to Home Depot. And yes, nearly stock, N/A Marauder. I'll take a peak at all those sites though.

Last time I checked, no. But that was a while ago.

I know that bottledbird68 did the PVC with his caprice. Made a HUGE difference. He just deleted the air silencers. He even painted the PVC black so it matched. He then cut out the airbox (not drilled, CUT). Its kinda ghetto, but it works. I am sure there is a CAI kit for the marauder... Would make a better difference I think. I will look around and see.
