86 Conquest TSi

I have a 1986 dodge conquest tsi for sale.. its the same thing as a mitsubishi starion.. turbocharged 2.6l rwd sports car..

the body has 150k on it.. engine has 70k.. it runs but needs some work.. exhaust leak from what i believe is a stripped out exhaust manifold bolt.. the alternator is shit.. and the clutch was slipping at high rpms.. car hasn't been driven regularly in over a year..

im not looking for much money for this.. i just need to get rid of it before i leave for Basic..

i also have a spare engine that needs a rebuild in my basement, along with 2 other 12a turbos.. the turbo in the car is a 14g.. i'll have pics up this weekend if anyone wants them..

this is a car that is an easy project for someone that wants to give it a week and a few bucks.. the body is in decent shape.. no rust.. small ding in the front and a primered passenger rear quarter..

still sittin here, tim is away at basic training, i could take you go to see it if you want, its in whitman. i could have his brother give me the keys so you could check it out. his mom probably has the title and could forge the paperwork when it gets sold.

i'm still thinking, i'd need to see it, then i'll make an offer on it, considering i'd be in deep shit if i show up with another vehicle.. :D does the extra motor and 2 extra turbo's still come with it? how bad is the rot? what color is it? decent tread on the tires? ball joints ok? tranny ok? etc.. you know the drill..

no rot that i remember, again i havent seen it in a while, so im not posotive. i know the body is in VERY good condition, the paint is old and faded and there are spots in primer as stated before, but its all straight with the exception of the cracked front spoiler. i believe he only wants 300 to get EVERYTHING out, extra motor (i believe the head was removed and taken apart, but all there), he might have sold one of the turbos, but not posotive, the interior is near mint, it needs a stereo and there is a hole in the dash where the boost gauge was. not sure on the tread, everything passed inspection fine, so the ball joints should be good, the tranny is fine but the clutch is going as stated. oh, its red with a black velour interior (pimp). trust me, this is one pimp ass car, if you take the dodge badges off and put porche badges on, no one would know the difference. i would have built it up myself, but i dont have the room. i can show it to you anytime you want as long as i have a day or two notice to get the keys. i am usually home after 5 on the weekdays, im working a half day on saturday and i gotta meet up with a couple people on business on sunday. just give me a ball park on when you wanna look at it and i can shift things around. just get the damn thing outta there so tim can put the stang somewhere other then the parking lot across the street.
