hey my dads truck is for sale if you want it, looks like that only black and chevy

99 ls 3500 crew cab dually, all black, red interior, 454, auto, int is mint, couple dings on the hood, like 100k miles, new rearend, 411s 12 bolt, hes lookin to sell it for like 18-19 i think.

im bringin it down sunday if you want to check it out jimmy

nope! and i said similar to that, im not getting a crew cad, i plan on getting a supercab, i don't like the look of 4 full doors. but i do like short beds. besides i'm under 6ft so there is room for...well. oh wait i'll have a back seat. cool

well ok you put it that way, well it should be done in the back seat of a mustang i've done that...twice! and im sure that in the back seat of a truck would be much nicer, unless its a nice night out and i have something comfortable to put down then it will be in the back of the truck.

i dont need to steel it i just go, dad i'm taking your truck. ya its cool to cruise in, but its just a XL model. meaning no tape or cd player, roll up windows, manual locks, bench seat, etc. that and i would rather have my own truck that puts that to shame.

last time i checked it was called a push bar, well because it pushes things out of the way. a light bar is on the roof or on a nonfunctual roll bar.

a push bar is what the cops have or similar. the bars on the front of hte trucks in 2f&2f were called prerunner bars, mainly used on 2WD trucks to drive ahead of the race trucks in baha and such courses to carry tools and spare parts incase of a break down. check this site (did a search, its the first site that came up) http://www.pimpmotorsports.com/ they have a pic of a ford on there, it switches, so just give it a sec to load. :thumbsup:

well anyway whatever they may be called. thats what i will most likely be getting. and no i don't consider it being a ricer, because its an American Truck not a honda shitbox. and if you want to consider it anything it would have to be a redneck, but even that is going too far. cause to make it a redneck truck it has to be different colors, lifted the wrong way and shitty too big for the truck tires. also has stickers like nascar, and other shit in the window. where as mine will be clean, one or two colors(twotone) with a nice lift, and nice tires. and in the back window, teams sticker, and maybe stickers for the aftermarket parts i have put on.

And also brush bars... Meant to keep trees and shit from breaking the front of your truck when offroading. Very few trucks have "push bars". Those are mainly for cop cars. But, you are right bry... also "pre-runners". Most of the time, those bars on the front of trucks are used to mount winches to... their only real purpose unless they extend out over the entire front of the truck...

damn you guys got it all back asswards

the only time a short bed looks halfway decent is on a reg cab, cuz its a smaller truck to begin with, but when you have an extended cab or a crew cab, a short bed makes it look like a chode, whereas with a long bed on the four door it at least looks bulky.

actually i dont like the 4 door long beds unless they are duelly, but if they are, then theyre badass,

I hear what ya saying...A dually 4 full door's is sweet wit a nice duramax or powerstroke..But 1/2 I like the short bed unless it's a reg cab..I dont know why but oh well :eh:
